Caroline Kennerson was born in 1975 in Haute-Savoie (France). She lives and works in the Paris’s region. Fascinated by art since her childhood, she graduated from art and art sciences at the University of Paris I before defending a thesis. Since then, she has been leading a teaching career in addition to her artistic work.
Experimenting with all techniques, Caroline Kennerson chooses her materials according to her project. She questions the body, from the microcosm to the macrocosm, the cell and the whole, in their chaos or synergy. The artist intersects the vegetable, living, and inorganic worlds to create radiographic works that question the world and its interactions. This permanent hybridization questions the foreign, to demonstrate the strange that is in itself.
Caroline Kennerson shows her work in many exhibitions and fairs, such as recently the Biennale d’art contemporain de Champigny-sur-Marne in 2020. The exhibition Philogénie utopique, presented at the Conservatoire des Arts in Montigny-Le-Bretonneux in 2018, retraces her very organic work.
