Nour Awada was born in 1985 in Beyrouth. She works and lives in Paris. She graduated from Ecole Nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (2012).

For her, the notion of space is linked to an excitement of the present. Creaks and cracks plunge us into the action of a gestation in motion. It is not synonymous with deadlock, but with renewal.

In the same year, she won the Contemporary Talent Prize 2012 of the François Schneider Foundation for her video work ‘Les Ruisselantes’. In 2014, Zadig Productions and Arte Productions reached to them for producing the video ‘Blanche’, for the Hokusai exhibition at the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais in Paris. In 2015, she won the Icart – Artistik Rezo prize, which she shares with Jacques Girault, collaborator on her latest video creations.
