Stéphanie Mansy was born in 1978. She lives and works in the Oise (France). She graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Rennes and is now art school teacher.

Stéphanie Mansy goes through the landscape in search of surface events and other symptoms that manifest what is happening in depth, that bear witness to a history, an experience of space. Stemming from her experience of the landscapes of the Hauts-de-France, the works in the cycle entitled “Jardin Infini” intertwine drawing and cartography, to retranscribe the artist’s wanderings in these spaces formed by explosions and other manifestations of a territory that was at war. However, comparable to irruptions, geysers, the forms created by the artist send us back to a much larger story: that of the emergence of the organic premises necessary for life.

In 2018, she won the Carré sur Seine prize from the Boulogne Billancourt Art Gallery.
